Day I went to Share
Yoo hoo, my turn to post something... Went for SHARE visit on the 17th of Nov. was there because my tuition centre wanted to do their part for society so I went down to lend them some support. we arrived at Marsiling road blk 3 at about 11.30am and apart from Share volunteers, there were 8 others who came down (7 from the centre, the other's my friend). great thanks to them for collecting goodies from parents and fellow tutors to distribute to the beneficiaries. that day we visited 5 homes and did a pretty good job in area cleaning... spick and span! we had split into three groups and i was with alex and candice. hehe, as i'm not the one doing the housework at home, i only know how to clean the tables and fan... plus wash the dishes. 'most hardworking' award goes to alex for he washed and scrubbed the toilet. he turned it from yellow to white... yeah... was 'yellow-stained'. anyway... he encountered a problem with the flushing system and roped me in to solve it. gosh... how would i noe how to fix that thing? so i tried hard to yank open the top flush cover to see what exactly was wrong wif the bowl. after struggling for 2min (because i didn't want to appear useless), i gave up eventually because it wouldn't come off. later on when alex tried i was embarrased. well actually u had to unscrew the cap before u can lift the cover up... well, told u i dun do housework! yeah so later on nancy came and helped to mopped the floor and we're done... the other groups did a great job too in cleaning the other homes and we finish everything by 3.30pm... before heading back home. i went back wif jacqueline to SN and saw that there were only less than 5 volunteers that day... so there weren't much activities going on. anyway, to all who read this... dun forget this sat (24th Nov) is our deepavali celebration! be there or be square.... (i'm not going as i've exams on monday... keke) ok la... let me put it this way.... pls go... =) okie i'm off to join my books for some fun again... take care ppl!

Good luck for your exam, make sure prepare it well.
Wow, all of you have a wonderful time with the SHARE activities. The rest of the volunteer don't feel shy, give the SHARE activities a try.
