Recruitment, Training, Orientation (RTO)

The Recruitment, Training, Orientation (RTO) committee was set up to cope with the recruitment activities pertaining to SN Home. Training matters for the volunteers also come under its wing and the main purpose is to train and impart relevant knowledge to dedicated volunteers so that they can better cope with the needs of the elderly and interact with them more effectively. Some of the training programs include General knowledge on wheelchair handling, and dialect training.

Objectives/Tasks

  • Responsible for all recruitment activities pertaining to SN Home
  • Responsible for all orientation programs of new volunteers
  • Responsible for all training programs pertaining to SN Home
  • Act as liaison between NCSS, NVPC and SN Home in areas of recruitment and training 
  • Arranging of SHARE volunteering for new volunteer
